It’s October, which means all things Halloween! My Halloween decor always seems to go in waves. Some years I love skeletons, spiderwebs, black cats, and crazy fun decor, then other years all I want are white pumpkins scattered throughout the house. Whether you are a go all in or a natural white pumpkin kind of person, these marble pumpkins are a quick, easy, and cheap addition to your October decor. And they may just get you in the mood for a little trick or treat!
Here is the simple list of supplies:
- Any color pumpkin
- Cheap nail polish
- Water
- Bowl and something to stir with
- Gloves (if kids are helping, or just a little messy!)
Here’s what you do: fill up your bowl with enough water to cover your pumpkin, or less if you only want to marble part of the pumpkin (use your artistic flair here!). Drop your nail polish into the water (any color would look amazing, make it match your decor!). The more nail polish you use, the more saturated your pumpkin will be. You can always start small and dip until you like the result. Once your polish is in the water, swirl it around with a straw or something disposable to create a more marbled look. Then grab your pumpkin and start dipping! Easy pumpkin-peasy!
