Happy Friday! Question…how many hats/slings/jackets are you sick of throwing in drawers never to easily find again? Yep, me too. I’ve wanted to create a wood peg and leather strap type of monster mash up for awhile but, unfortunately, it would mean putting huge anchors in the wall for each hook. I don’t know about you but I am a changer and things just don’t seem to stay on a wall for very long, so that project was out. But I still badly needed hooks for some of Luca’s go to items, so the Amazon search began. I LOVE the look of the simple, light wood, accordion racks….but those leather straps!! I needed them too. Finally it clicked. Combine them, duh!
After some simple Amazon searches, I found the perfect, simple accordion rack and some leather drawer pulls that would combine all of my hook dreams. This project cost a total of $31.00 and I have two drawer pulls left to adorn a future project! Win and win!
Supply List:
STEP 1:
Pull accordion rack out of box and unscrew the hooks that you want to replace with the leather pulls.
STEP 2:
Fold together the fancy, leather, drawer pulls and screw into place.
STEP 3:
Hang and admire.
THAT’S IT YOU GUYS! The easiest, cheapest, DIY accordion rack level up! Here is a link to my Instagram reel in case you want to see the project in action.
